Although Taiwan's official language is Mandarin, the majority of Taiwanese people also speak "Taiwanese", which is also known as Holo, Hoklo, or Taiwanese Minnan. In addition to Taiwanese, there are many other dialects that are spoken in Taiwan, such as Hakka.
